By the decision of the Governing Council of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, the Center for Career Development was founded. The center will initially operate within the Office for Public Information and Communication.

The Rector, Alush Musaj, said that the foundation of the Center for Career Development within the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” is a very important project for the benefition of students and the University itself. “A center like this one will be an important center of information and intermediation for students.”

Whereas the Director of Information and Public Relations, Ahmet Jashari, said that this center will help increase the prestige of UMIB and will create opportunities for absorption of various grants and donations related to the center itself, but also for the University. “The center for career development will assist students of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” in developing knowledge and skills that will help them in employment, providing students with the opportunity to gain work experience while studying, providing labour market information, providing access to literature for studies, training, seminars, lectures and other activities ”, he stated.

Otherwise, the center will assist in the development of skills, knowledge, and experience, which are key to the process of hiring students and graduates, and will provide digitized services for education, counseling, development and career orientation.
