DiLandEdu – WB, the new EU project at the Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education has also won another EU project entitled DiLanEdu-WB (Digital Transformation in Language Study and Education of the Western Balkans). This project is being led by the faculty’s lecturer, Albana Sadiku.
This project aims to communicate the technology of language education in the WB Higher Education Area, strengthening the curricula of language teacher training in HEIs with ICT. The project will also establish and operationalize animal laboratories. The design objectives are as follows: Updating and improving existing curricula to incorporate digital tools in language teaching and research, i.e., new and innovative transformations in old disciplines (e.g., computational linguistics) and developing a micro-credential environment game; Establishing or expanding laboratories of digital methods and tools in language teaching; Creating a network of institutions and students sharing similar interests in teaching and promoting digital tools in language teaching and learning, as well as in language research.
Thus, it will develop capacities in three design directions: 1. Digital language education. 2. Instruction of language skills & intercultural competencies in a digital environment. 3. Digital transformation in discourse & language analysis.
