The “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica also accepts students from other countries, under the same conditions of competition as candidates from Kosovo. Non-Kosovar candidates are considered candidates who have completed their secondary education outside Kosovo and who do not have Kosovo citizenship.
The certificate – decision for: Recognition of the diploma – certificate; Equivalence of the diploma; Overall success during the years of education and equivalence of grades and Equivalence of the Matura Exam and the determination that the candidate meets the conditions for competition in Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, is issued by MASTI – NARIC Kosovo (for candidates from the Republic of Albania). The same procedure is followed by other non-Kosovar candidates who have completed their secondary education outside of Kosovo and who do not have Kosovo citizenship. In these cases, the equivalence of grades can also be made by the UIBM Quality Assurance Office.
UIBM will ensure the preparation of entrance exam tests in the language in which the candidates have completed their previous education or/and for which they declare in advance in the self-declaration form.
