Engineering Informatics students win the cyber security competition
Students of Engineering Informatics within the Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering (FIMK) at the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM), have won first place in the cyber security competition “Kosovo Cyber Challenge”. In this competition organized by UNDP in cooperation with Women4Cyber Albania, Telelink Business Services and IPKO Foundation, three students from FIMK participated: Eron Mahmuti, Valton Tahiri and Armend Binaku.
The winners were awarded with a tablet and internship at Women4Cyber Albania. The awards were shared by Maria Skuokku, UNDP Resident Representative in Kosovo, who congratulated them on their success.
Otherwise, the students of the Department of Engineering Informatics from the Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering (FIMK), days ago have taken first place in the “Hackathon” competition of the Capture the Flag type. The head of the department, Professor Berat Ujkani, expressed his happiness with the successes of UIBM students, who are being very agile in their profession and at the same time are doing honor to the institution.
