On November 5 and 6, 2021 at the University “Fan S. Noli” of Korca was organized the 16th International Interdisciplinary Conference “EDUCATION AND CULTURE IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY”. The conference was organized by more than ten local and international institutions, including Isa Boletini University in Mitrovica as co-organizer.

210 papers were presented at this conference, with 310 authors, co-authors and contributors from 23 countries. The conference conducted its work in 15 thematic sessions and 27 presentation sessions. Plenary sessions and special sessions were held in parallel with the conference proceedings. The conference was also attended by two keynote speakers from Israel and the United Kingdom.

The proceedings of the conference were greeted by the President of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Academician Skender Gjinushi, the Rector of the University “Fan S. Noli” of Korca and on behalf of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, the participants were greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. . Ass. Dr. Besim Gollopeni.

Also, as our tradition demands, 364 days in advance the next institution in which the next conference will be organized is assigned and takes the baton. So, next year it was decided that the conference be organized at the University of Gjilan “Kadri Zeka”.
