On May 9-13, 2023, the meeting of partners of the European project, Quality Development of International Cooperation and Project Management /QUADIC, supported by Erasmus+, was held at the University of Shkodra Luigj Gurakuqi. In this event, UIBM was represented by the Vice-Rector Prof. asoc. dr. Merita Shala from the member of the Governing Council and representative of the academic staff at UIBM.
In the framework of this meeting, the achievements so far were presented by representatives of the participating universities, for the activities developed within the framework of this project. According to the presentations by the partners, this project has had a positive impact on the partner universities, with tangible results especially in the growth and development of international cooperation and projects.
The QUADIC project aims to improve the provision of higher education, building institutional capacities for international relations, as the project has great importance in addressing concrete issues and project initiatives from the universities involved.
All local and international partners participated in this organization, a total of 18 representatives of Institutions, such as: University “Kadri Zeka” GJILAN, Coordinator/Grant Holder, International Business College Mitrovica, University of Gjakova “Fehmi Agani”, University of Prizren Ukshin Hoti”, University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Universite de Nice Sophia Antipolis, Technical University of Sofia, University of Medicine Tirana, University of Ljubljana, Heimerer College, University of Peja ‘Haxhi Zeka”, University of Durres “Aleksandër Xhuvani” , University of Mitorvica “Isa Boletini”, European University of Tirana, International University for Business and Technology, University of Korça “Fan S. Noli”, University of Gjirokastra “Eqrem Qabej”, Universita Per Stranieri Di Perugia.
The Public University “Kadri Zeka” is the coordinator of the QUADIC project, where with the agreement of all partners it is intended to be applied with the Erasmus+ QUADIC 2 project, which will have new objectives in the field of internationalization of higher education institutions in Kosovo and Albania.
