After the end of the elections in the Student Parliament and Faculty Councils, on Tuesday the new composition of the Senate of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM) was constituted. In the meeting chaired by the rector, prof. dr. Alush Musaj and the general secretary, Avdyl Beqiri, have verified the mandates of the new senators, who then signed the Ethical Declaration and elected ass. Milaim Mehmetin, temporary chairman of the Senate.

Members of the new composition of the Senate from the academic staff are: Prof.ass.dr. Nazmi Hasi (Faculty of Geosciences), prof. dr. Aziz Behrami (Faculty of Food Technology), Msc. Arbëri Krasniqi (Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering), prof.ass.dr. Mimoza Aliu (Faculty of Law), asst. Milaim Mehmeti (Faculty of Economics) and MSc. Ylli Hashani (Faculty of Education). Alban Fazliu has been elected senator from the non-academic staff, while from the Students’ Parliament: Ardenë Hajdini and Elmedina Kurti.

At this meeting of the Senate, the deans of the academic units were also elected: Prof. asoc.dr. Festim Kutllovci (Faculty of Geosciences), prof.assoc.dr. Mensur Kelmendi (Faculty of Food Technology), prof.assoc.dr. Faton Mervoci (Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering), prof.assoc.dr. Islam Qerimi (Faculty of Law), prof.assoc.dr. Qazim Tmava (Faculty of Economics) and prof.assoc.dr. Samire Bllaca (Faculty of Education).
