Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. assoc. dr. Islam Qerimi on dt. 22.11.2023, organized the constitutive meeting of the Advisory Body of this Faculty. He, in support of Article 68, par. 1. Point 1.3. of the Statute of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, and article 2 par. 4, as well as Article 3. Par. 3 of the Regulation on the establishment and mode of operation of the Advisory Body of the Academic Units of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, organized the constitutive meeting of the Advisory Body for the Faculty of Law.

The participating members of this meeting voted that Mr. Shpëtim Peci, who works as a Prosecutor in the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo. After the constitution of the Advisory Body and the election of the chairman Peci, the Council proposed that the same Body be added with the newly elected vice-dean of the Faculty of Law, for quality and international relations, prof.ass.dr. Arbnor Ajeti. About his choice, the dean decided to inform the council of the academic unit.

This constitution was preceded by two decisions of the Council of the Faculty of Law, which had as their object of approval the proposals of the dean for the composition of this Advisory Body. Therefore, in support of Article 72 of the Statute of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, and Article 2, para. 2 and 3 of the Regulation on the establishment and mode of operation of the Advisory Body of the Academic Units of “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, the Council of the Faculty of Law had made a decision in the meeting held on 04.09.2023, no. Prot. 145, and with the decision on amendment/supplement, in the meeting held on 19.09.2023 with no. Prot. 151, for the formation of the Advisory Body at the Faculty of Law, with the following composition:

–  Shpëtim Peci – Prosecutor (Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo) – Chairman of the Advisory Board;

– Vesel Ismajli – Judge (Special Department) at the Basic Court in Pristina – member;

– Ganimete Xhelili, President of the Chamber of Mediators of Kosovo – member;

– Fatmir Behrami – Prosecutor (Department for Juveniles) in the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina – member;

– Kushtrim Shyti – Judge (Department for Serious Crimes) at the Basic Court in Pristina – member;

– Nebih Halili – Correctional Service of Kosovo / Ministry of Justice – member;

– Besim Parduzi – lawyer (Kosovo Bar Association) – member;

– Prof. Assoc. Dr. Islam Qerimi, Dean of Law Faculty – UIBM – member;

– Prof. Asst. Dr. Pararim Gruda – Vice-dean for learning and academic affairs of Law Faculty – UIBM– member;
