On October 21, 2024, the Faculty of Education at UIBM organized a solemn ceremony for awarding certificates to participants in the trainings conducted under the project “Empowering Data Analysis and Innovation in the Advanced Academic Research Center,” funded by KUSA (Kosovo United States Alumni), led by the project team: Ass. Hatixhe Gashi, Ass. Gentiana Imeraj, and Ass. Arbesa Uka.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ass. Dr. Samire Bllaca Balaj, representatives from KUSA, academic and administrative staff, alumni, and students.

Project coordinator Ass. Hatixhe Gashi emphasized the importance of enhancing research capacities at the Faculty of Education and the active involvement of students, staff, and alumni in the process of professional development. She thanked KUSA, as well as the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica for their support, expressing optimism about the long-term impact these trainings will have on improving research practices and teaching methodologies.

The project, which started in January 2024, included three main trainings:

• R Program – for statistical data analysis;

• Advanced Research Methodology;

• Communication for Development.

With project funding, the Academic Research Center was equipped with six laptops and the necessary infrastructure for conducting advanced analyses and research.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participants, reflecting their commitment and dedication during the trainings.

The Faculty of Education thanks KUSA for their invaluable support and all participants for their dedication. This project marks an important step in advancing research and innovation in education, promoting the professional development of staff and students.
