At the invitation of the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM), Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi, had the honor to attend the reception organized on the occasion of the 249th anniversary of the Independence of the United States.

In a festive and welcoming atmosphere, he joined representatives of institutions, organizations, and numerous friends of the United States in Kosovo to mark this important day for the American people and to celebrate the deep friendship between our two nations.

During the ceremony, the Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy, Ms. Anu Prattipati, stated in her speech: “I can’t imagine a better place to celebrate this occasion than here, with you, in the most pro-American country in the world.”

Dean Qerimi emphasized that these words further affirm the special bond that unites the people of Kosovo with the American people – a relationship built upon shared values of freedom, democracy, and mutual cooperation.

On behalf of the Faculty of Law at “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, Dean Qerimi expressed his gratitude for the invitation and for the opportunity to be part of this symbolic moment that further strengthens our enduring partnership.
