On 15.09.2025, the UIBM team held the First Meeting of the EmpowerHER Project
The UIBM team successfully held the first meeting of the project “EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students”, funded under the Social Dimension Small Grants Program of the SHER initiative.
The meeting marked the official start of project activities and brought together the project team composed of Prof.ass.dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri, Prof.assoc.dr. Merita Shala and Erzen Jusufi.
During the meeting, the team discussed the project’s objectives, work plan, and timeline. Special attention was given to the preparation phase, including the selection of trainers, identification of resources, and baseline data gathering. The project aims to empower female students by combining entrepreneurship education, mental health resilience, and the promotion of gender equality in higher education.
The “EmpowerHER” project, which runs from September 2025 to June 2026, will include workshops, trainings, business idea presentations, awareness campaigns, and networking events designed to support and inspire female students in their entrepreneurial journeys.
The first meeting concluded with a clear action plan to ensure smooth implementation and effective monitoring of upcoming activities.
