The management of the Faculty of Law welcomed students who, during this semester, will begin their professional internship at the Basic Court in Mitrovica and its branches in Vushtrri and Skenderaj.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi; the Vice Dean for International Relations and Quality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arbnor Ajeti; the Head of Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Besnik Murati; as well as the Student Services Officer, Bekim Salihu. They received a number of students who will carry out their professional internship on days free from lectures and exercises held at the Faculty campus.

Dean Qerimi informed the students about the continuous commitment of the management to support and organize professional internships, even though legal clinic courses are already included in the faculty’s curriculum. He emphasized the importance of this activity for the practical preparation of students and for bringing them closer to the judicial system.

During the meeting, the management also informed students about the rules and guidelines they must follow while undertaking their internship, including maintaining internal order in the courts and representing the Faculty and the University in a dignified manner.

The students expressed their interest and raised questions regarding the location of the internship, the respective departments, as well as the organization of transportation and other activities related to this process.
