Description of the activity

This activity is dedicated to administrative staff and focuses on the development of intercultural competences, the exchange of institutional practices and the strengthening of international cooperation between partner universities.

The content of the program is closely related to:

supporting students in international and intercultural environments,
the internationalization of higher education institutions,
the exchange of practices for intercultural communication,
and the strengthening of institutional capacities for international cooperation.

For this reason, the activity is particularly useful for staff who are engaged in:

supporting students,
coordinating international cooperation,
managing mobilities,
institutional communication,
and developing internationalization processes at the university.

The program includes:

interactive sessions and professional discussions,
exchange of practices and institutional experiences,
activities for the development of intercultural competences,
cultural activities and international networking.

Eligibility criteria

To apply, the candidate must:

be a member of the academic or administrative staff at UIBM;
have a mandatory knowledge of the English language, as the activity is conducted in English;
have a role or professional profile related to:
international cooperation,
student support,
institutional communication,
academic development,
or internationalization processes.
Selection criteria

The selection will be made based on:

the compatibility of the position / professional profile with the content of the activity;
the relevance of the participation for the academic or administrative unit;
the expected impact of the participation on the processes of internationalization and student support;
the quality of the application and the motivation letter;
the level of the English language;
the institutional benefit from the participation;
the fair distribution of mobility opportunities.

Priority may be given to candidates whose position is directly related to international cooperation, student support and institutional internationalization processes, as well as to candidates who have not previously benefited from similar mobilities.
