Within the framework of the LEADALKO Erasmus+ Project, a series of intensive training sessions were successfully delivered on 24–26 March 2026 at Kolegji Biznesi in Prishtina. The trainings were organized as part of the piloting phase of the Leadership Development Programme, bringing together academic staff, representatives from Ministry of Education, Pedagogical Institute and project participants from partner institutions.

The training sessions were delivered by local and EU professors, including Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri from University Isa Boletini in Mitrovica, Atdhe Kabashi from Kolegji Biznesi, and Jan Uwic representing the European Union partner institutions.

The three-day programme covered key leadership and management topics essential for higher education professionals. Participants from HEI, Ministry of Education and Pedagogical Institute engaged in sessions on managing financial resources, risk, and projects, as well as enhancing interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, motivation, and building high-performance academic teams. The interactive format of the training encouraged active participation, knowledge exchange, and practical application of leadership concepts.

The final day of the programme was dedicated to the development of Change Projects. Small project teams, together with their coaches from Kosovo and EU partners, presented updates on their ongoing work. They discussed the progress achieved so far, received constructive feedback, and outlined the next steps required for the successful implementation of their projects.

This training activity represents an important milestone in strengthening leadership capacities in higher education across Kosovo and Albania, contributing to the overall objectives of the LEADALKO project in fostering innovation, collaboration, and institutional development.
