On March 30, 2026, the Faculty of Economics within the University Isa Boletini in Mitrovica, under the framework of the Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) program, part of Action CA22110 “Cooperation, Development and Cross-Border Transfer of Industrial Symbiosis among Industry and Stakeholders (LIAISE)”, hosted Prof. Dr. Besa Shahini from the University of Tirana, specifically from the Faculty of Economics.

During this visit, Prof. Dr. Besa Shahini carried out the planned academic activities at the Faculty of Economics of the University Isa Boletini in Mitrovica, in full accordance with the plan approved under the STSM framework. The activities were conducted with the aim of advancing inter-institutional academic and scientific cooperation, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in relevant fields of economics and management. In addition to the planned engagements, meetings were also held with the management of the Faculty of Economics, as well as extended discussions with the academic staff. These meetings were characterized by a constructive and collaborative approach, with a particular focus on the development of a new Master’s study program in “Management and International Business”, which is currently in the drafting and application phase with the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.

The management of the Faculty of Economics expresses its sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Besa Shahini for her valuable contribution and constructive input, particularly in the research component, which is expected to contribute to enhancing academic quality and further institutional development.
