As part of the close cooperation between the law faculties of the two universities, the academic staff of the Faculty of Law at the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM) conducted a study visit to the Faculty of Law at the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi.”

This visit was organized through the initiative and close collaboration between the Dean of the Faculty of Law at UIBM, Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Shkodra, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irma Baraku. During the visit, lectures were delivered by UIBM professors for the students and academic staff of the Faculty of Law in Shkodra.

The lectures covered various fields of law in which the teaching staff possesses specialized expertise. These sessions were highly appreciated by the participants and served as an excellent opportunity for sharing experiences and deepening academic cooperation between the two institutions. The participating professors were certified as visiting lecturers for the topics presented during the lectures.

During their stay in Shkodra, Deans Qerimi and Baraku were also received by the Rector of the University “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Prof. Dr. Tonin Gjuraj, who warmly welcomed the academic staff of UIBM and highly praised this collaborative initiative.
At the conclusion of the visit, the deans of both law faculties agreed to continue this cooperation in the future, including the organization of joint lectures in an online format.
