In a significant step toward strengthening academic and professional collaboration, the Deans of two higher education institutions in the field of law—Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi from the Faculty of Law at “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica and Assoc. Prof. Enida Bozheku (Av/PhD) from the Faculty of Law at “Qiriazi” University College—have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

This memorandum aims to establish a sustainable framework for inter-institutional cooperation, with the goal of enhancing the quality of legal education and expanding opportunities for professional development of human resources. As part of this collaboration, both parties will offer mutual support in the development and delivery of undergraduate and master’s degree programs, including specialized legal consultancy from their respective departments.

The memorandum also outlines the commitment of both institutions to jointly develop and/or revise academic programs to better align with current labor market needs. Moreover, the collaboration extends to the field of international projects, where the institutions will jointly apply for initiatives that promote academic development and scientific research.

A key focus of the agreement is the facilitation of academic exchanges—both of staff and students—as well as the organization of professional workshops, roundtables, and joint scientific conferences of mutual interest.

This memorandum represents an important step toward the internationalization of legal education and the creation of a lasting partnership that will contribute to strengthening the academic and professional capacities of both faculties.
