UIBM staff, composed of Prof.ass.dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri, Prof.assoc.dr. Merita Shala and administrative officer Erzen Jusufi, are beneficiaries of the grant for the project “EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students” within the framework of the “Social Dimension Small Grants” call of the SHER (Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosovo) program, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and co-funded by MASHTI.

The project “EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students” aims to support and empower female students by addressing the intersection of gender equality, mental health, and entrepreneurship. Moreover, it aims to foster an inclusive and supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem by promoting gender equality, equipping female students with essential business skills, and enhancing mental health resilience to enable their success in entrepreneurship.

The project will create a holistic approach to fostering female entrepreneurship by combining mental health awareness with business development skills in a gender-sensitive environment.
