UIBM staff, consisting of Prof.ass.dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri, Prof.assoc.dr. Merita Shala and administrative officer Erzen Jusufi, are beneficiaries of the grant for the project “EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students” within the call “Social Dimension Small Grants” of the SHER (Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosovo) program, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and co-financed by MASHTI.

The project “EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students”, which will last a total of ten months, aims to support and empower female students by addressing the nexus of gender equality, mental health, and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, it aims to foster an inclusive and supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem by promoting gender equality, equipping female students with essential business skills, and increasing mental health resilience to enable their success in business. The project will create a holistic approach to fostering female entrepreneurship by combining mental health awareness with business development skills in a gender-sensitive environment.
