At the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM), a roundtable discussion was held on Wednesday on the topic: “Transforming business management in the digital age: How to adapt to market demands”, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Tirana Business University (TBU). In addition to the leaders of UIBM and TBU, municipal officials, business representatives, teachers, students, etc. were also present.

The roundtable was led by prof.dr. Esat Durguti, vice-dean for Research and International Cooperation at the Faculty of Economics, who initially presented findings that have been published by various institutions and organizations on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Then the dean of the Faculty of Economics, prof.asoc.dr. Qazim Tmava, took the floor, who emphasized that a balance must be found between the use of technology as an imperative and the risks it brings.

The Rector of UIBM, prof.dr. Nurten Deva, emphasized the need for increased caution regarding the use of AI, given the momentum it has already gained in every area of ​​life. Meanwhile, the rector of TBU, prof.dr. Vasilika Kume, emphasized that proper policies are needed for the use of AI, since institutions must use it anyway in order not to be left out of the market.

After the introductory part, other participants were also included in the discussion table, such as teachers and business representatives, who expressed their views on the use of AI.
