Students from technical fields at the “Isa Boletini” University of Mitrovica (UIBM) will have the opportunity to carry out practical work and professional research at the Regional Water Company “Mitrovica” (KRU). To define the conditions of student engagement, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Monday by the Rector of UIBM, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, and the Chief Executive Officer of KRU, Bashkim Kurti.

The purpose of this Memorandum of Cooperation between UIBM and KRU is to enhance the professional development of students. In this context, students will be allowed to conduct study visits to KRU facilities, complete diploma projects, undertake professional internships, and participate in joint research projects and other activities of mutual interest.

Rector Deva thanked the Chief Executive Officer of KRU for the cooperation and the opportunities created for students. “This is an excellent opportunity for our students to use the capacities of KRU to advance their professional development,” she stated.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of KRU, Bashkim Kurti, expressed his satisfaction in being able to support students in their practical work. He praised the university management’s approach to this collaboration, emphasizing that it represents a mutually beneficial partnership for both UIBM and KRU.
