The “Isa Boletini” University of Mitrovica (UIBM) will receive support in various areas from the Sustainable Higher Education and Research in Kosovo (SHER) Program. To specify the details of this support, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on Wednesday by the Rector of UIBM, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, and the Head of SHER, Aqim Emurli.

Rector Deva emphasized that this marks a new beginning of collaboration. “I call it a new chapter because our cooperation with Mr. Emurli and his colleagues, through another organization, has a long and fruitful tradition. This is a great opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation for their continued support of the ‘Isa Boletini’ University of Mitrovica,” she stated.

She also expressed her confidence that this new phase of cooperation with the SHER organization will be successful, given the positive past experience and the shared commitment to achieving results. “We are beginning this new chapter by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the ‘Isa Boletini’ University and the SHER organization,” Rector Deva added.

The Head of SHER, Aqim Emurli, spoke about the organization’s work and its cooperation with higher education institutions across Kosovo. He also underlined the importance of this collaboration with UIBM, particularly in specific areas that contribute to enhancing the institution’s overall performance.

The Memorandum of Cooperation defines the areas, tasks, obligations, and responsibilities of each party. The University will receive support in several key areas, including the review of the statute and strategic documents, alignment of regulations with relevant laws, quality assurance, and other essential institutional development aspects.
