Shpresa Musa, a former student of the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, received her doctorate on Thursday at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany. She received her doctorate in Natural Sciences and received the highest academic honor “Magna cum laude”.

Musa has completed her bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Food Technology. During her studies, she distinguished herself with high success and continuous commitment, being a university scholarship holder for two consecutive years. She had won a full two-year “Fulbright Scholarship” from the American Embassy, ​​to continue her master’s studies in America.

After completing the first year of her master’s degree, she signed a contract as a research assistant with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2019, she won an Erasmus scholarship as part of the interuniversity cooperation with UMIB. She also studied a full semester in the Netherlands, at the University of Applied Sciences, Van Hall Larenstein.

In addition to showing great success in her professional studies, she was engaged in volunteer work for a long time. During her studies at UIBM, she was the vice president of the Student Parliament.

Former student, Shpresa Musa, is now one of UIBM’s most successful stories, alongside many others who have made a name for themselves with their successes. She is also one of the best ambassadors of UIBM and Mitrovica.

Her success has been welcomed by the leaders of UIBM. The Rector, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, expressed her warmest congratulations to Shpresa, who with her success has made her family, UIBM and Mitrovica proud.
