Information Session on the Rights and Obligations of the New Academic Staff
A working meeting was held, organized by the Human Resources Department, with the theme of informing the newly appointed academic staff about their rights and obligations.
The meeting was attended by representatives from senior management and the new staff, including the Personnel Manager, the Vice-Rector for Academic Development and Quality, professors, and administrative officers.
During the meeting, the organizational structure of the university was presented, emphasizing the roles and responsibilities of the respective units. The main rights of the staff were discussed, such as a safe working environment, equal treatment, and opportunities for professional development, as well as their obligations related to respecting working hours, fulfilling responsibilities, and using institutional resources responsibly.
An important part of the meeting was dedicated to the presentation of digital systems and support services, including institutional email, the learning platform, and IT technical assistance. Participants were provided with the Human Resources manual, the contact list of support offices, and the user guide for digital systems.
The meeting was evaluated as very useful, helping the new staff to orient themselves and integrate more easily into the institution. The Human Resources Department reaffirmed its commitment to providing continuous support and creating conditions that foster both professional and personal development of the staff.
