Today, students of the Faculty of Education attended a lecture and practical session on first aid, led by Dr. Valon Caka and Nurse Bajram Rama from the Main Center of Family Medicine “Dr. Nexhat Çuni” in Mitrovica. The event was organized by Prof. Asoc. Dr. Merita Shala.

First aid was the focus of today’s session, providing students with valuable knowledge and life-saving skills that can make a difference in emergency situations.

As part of their professional preparation, students first received theoretical guidance from Dr. Caka and Inf. Rama, and then actively participated in a practical first aid session, where they learned and practiced basic procedures for responding effectively in emergencies.

The practical activity emphasized skills such as injury treatment, emergency management, and personal safety. The students showed great enthusiasm and commitment, demonstrating their readiness to apply what they learned both in their future profession and in everyday life.
