The “Kick-off meeting” of the project “Development of Leadership Capacities in Higher Education in Albania and Kosovo (LEADALKO)” that took place at Bedër University – Albania, has successfully concluded after two days of intensive sessions on January 2025.

The LEADALKO project was created to address the clearly identified need for the development of leaders and managers in the Higher Education sectors in Albania and Kosovo. Funded by the Erasmus+ program (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE-STRAND-1), it aims to:

• Strengthen the governance, strategic planning and management of higher education institutions;
• Increase the capacities of leaders and managers to negotiate, plan and implement the changes necessary for the transformation of the sector;
• Support continuous reforms to increase quality in higher education.
