On 5 February 2026, the training module “Mental Health Awareness, Resilience, and Work-Life Balance” was successfully delivered within the framework of the project EmpowerHER: Bridging Gender Equality, Mental Health, and Entrepreneurship for Female Students, funded by the SHER Project, WUS Austria
The session was delivered by the experts Ema Skeja and Prof. Dr. Katarina Babnik from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The training focused on strengthening participants’ emotional awareness and psychological well-being, developing practical stress-management and resilience skills, and enhancing understanding of work-life balance as a key psychological and professional competence. The agenda combined interactive group activities, reflective discussions, and expert lectures, covering topics such as emotional well-being, balancing academic, professional and personal life, resilience, and research-based perspectives on work-life balance
The module contributed directly to the objectives of the EmpowerHER project by supporting female students in building personal resilience, promoting mental health awareness, and strengthening capacities essential for their academic, professional and entrepreneurial development.
