Within the framework of interinstitutional cooperation with Savonia University of Applied Sciences from Finland, three students from this university are staying for three weeks at the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, specifically at the Faculty of Food Technology.

The students were welcomed by the Division for International Cooperation and Research as well as by the Student Office, which assisted them with their registration process within the framework of academic mobility. They were also received in a meeting by the Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology, Prof. Dr. Mensur Kelmendi, who offered them the full support of the academic and administrative staff during their stay at the faculty.

With the assistance of assistant Gonxhe Kajtazi and laboratory technician Shpend Doli, the students were introduced to the research and laboratory infrastructure of the faculty.

During this period, the students will complete their professional internship at the Faculty of Food Technology under the mentorship of Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bahtir Hyseni. Their internship will be carried out in cooperation with the IADK organization and the HiranoMushroom factory, providing the students with an opportunity to gain practical experience in real professional environments.

In addition, under the mentorship of Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bahtir Hyseni, the students have completed a three-day training on HPLC, with a focus on the reading and analysis of bioactive compounds in fermented Kombucha tea.
