“On Tuesday May 13th, UMIB students gathered for a Paint & Chat event hosted by Fulbright English Teaching Assistants Audra Pesko (University of Mitrovica) and Peyton D’Anthony (University of Prishtina). They made paintings and drawings to decorate the new English language library at the university’s international corner. Participants enjoyed snacks and conversation while painting bookshelves, motivational reading quotes, and landscapes. This event brought together students from many different university faculties. It also provided a space for students to practice English with native speakers from the United States. The English library is a Fulbright small grant project sponsored by the United States-Kosovo Educational Exchange Board (USKEB).”
