The Faculty of Law at University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica has taken a major step in international cooperation by starting a partnership with the Mitchell Hamline School of Law from Minnesota, USA.

As part of this collaboration, Prof.ass.dr. Zahir Çerkini delivered a comprehensive lecture to the visiting American students on the topic:
“Minority Rights in Kosovo: A Constitutional Perspective “.

The lecture, held at UIBM’s Faculty of Law, sparked lively discussion and engagement among the students, who are part of an academic visit to Kosovo.

Additionally, the faculty management, Prof.dr. Islam Qerimi – Dean, and, Prof.ass.dr. Arbnor Ajeti – Vice dean, officially welcomed Prof. Kim Vu-Dinh, Director of the Center of Law and Business and Director of the Economic Inclusion Clinic at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, to discuss steps toward a formal cooperation memorandum, focusing on student and faculty exchange programs.

This new partnership marks a promising development for the internationalization of UIBM’s Faculty of Law and its commitment to academic excellence through global engagement.
