Within the framework of cooperation between the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica – Faculty of Food Technology (FTU) and the Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo (IADK), SES Expert Wilhelm Poeschel will visit the Faculty of Food Technology on 8 and 9 October 2026, where he will deliver a series of professional lectures for students and academic staff.

On Thursday, 8 October 2026, the expert will deliver the lecture:

“Understanding the EC Food Chain – How Quality- and Food-Safety Management Are Organized in the Food Chain”

On Friday, 9 October 2026, two additional lectures will be delivered:

“Sensory Evaluation – A Method of Monitoring”

and

“Microbiological Evaluation – A Method of Verification”

In addition to the lectures, the expert’s visit will include professional activities and discussions with academic staff, including visits to the laboratories of the Faculty of Food Technology and an exchange of experience related to food quality control and food safety.

All students and academic staff of the Faculty of Food Technology are invited to actively participate in the organized lectures and activities.

This visit represents a valuable opportunity for professional exchange, learning from international expertise, and further strengthening inter-institutional cooperation between UIBM, FTU, and IADK.
