As part of the DiLanEdu-WB project, a Study Visit was successfully held at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, on 9–10 July 2026. The visit supported the objectives of the project by addressing the needs identified in the DiLanEdu-WB Needs and Wants Analysis. Professors from the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica who participated in this event were Albana Sadiku, Sarande Kika Bahtiri, and Fatbardha Hoxha.

The two-day program began with a welcome address by Prof. Ernesto De Luca, followed by lectures on Ethical AI and Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HCAI), presented by Prof. De Luca, and Education and Wellbeing, delivered by Dr. Julian Marwin Jörs. Participants also had the opportunity to network and exchange experiences during a Meet & Greet at the Innovation Xperience Incubator.

The second part of the program focused on the latest developments in artificial intelligence. M.Sc. Het Mehta introduced the concepts of Fairness and Bias in AI, while Dr. Lorenzo Zangari delivered sessions on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Prompt Engineering, providing participants with practical knowledge on the effective and responsible use of generative AI in education.

The study visit offered valuable insights into ethical and innovative applications of artificial intelligence in higher education, strengthening participants’ digital competences and promoting the exchange of good practices among DiLanEdu-WB partners.
