The first meeting of the team of the project “Development of FTIR/PLSR Methods for Authenticity Control of Olive Oil and Vegetable Oils” was held at the Faculty of Food Technology of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica. The project is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatos Rexhepi and has received funding from the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) under the Small Scientific Projects funding scheme.
The meeting was attended by the project leader, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatos Rexhepi, project team members Bahtir Hyseni, Mirsade Osmani, Gonxhe Kajtazi and Arbnora Durmishaj, as well as Rinesa Tasholli, a student of the Faculty of Food Technology, who will be involved in the project activities.
The meeting was informative and coordinative in nature, focusing on the main activities and stages of project implementation. Particular attention was given to the organization of the experimental work, the use of laboratory equipment and infrastructure, the coordination of tasks among team members, as well as the planning of scientific activities to be carried out during the implementation of the project.
The meeting also included discussions on participation in scientific conferences and the presentation of the project results, with the aim of promoting and disseminating the research findings within the academic and scientific community.
This meeting marks the beginning of the project activities and lays the foundation for further coordination among the team members towards achieving the defined project objectives.
