The QA-SURE Erasmus+ Project Presented at West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin, Poland
As part of the dissemination activities of the QA-SURE Erasmus+ project, representatives of the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica (UIBM), Prof. Assoc. Dr. Merita Shala, Project Coordinator, and Prof. Ass. Dr. Filloreta Kunoviku Demiri, in May 2025 presented the QA-SURE project during their visit to the West Pomeranian University of Technology (WPUT) in Szczecin, Poland.
The presentation took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility, focusing on the main objectives and results of the QA-SURE project, which aims to strengthen quality assurance systems in higher education and promote a culture of continuous improvement within participating institutions.
During the dissemination session, the professors also introduced the training platform with Open Badges, an innovative opportunity offered by the QA-SURE project for the professional development of academic and administrative staff. These courses contribute to the acquisition of measurable digital knowledge and skills, enabling international recognition of competencies gained in the field of quality assurance.
The activity was received with great interest by WPUT academic staff and students, who gained a closer understanding of the project’s results so far and the opportunities it offers for international collaboration and exchange of best practices in quality assurance.
In meetings with the Vice Dean for Teaching and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Anna Sworowska-Baranowska, as well as representatives of the WPUT International Relations Office, discussions focused on the potential to expand cooperation through future Erasmus+ projects and on leveraging QA-SURE results in the development of new quality assurance models.
This dissemination activity contributes to spreading the results of the QA-SURE project and increasing the visibility of UIBM as an active partner in promoting European quality standards in higher education.
