On 28 October 2026, Professors Ardita and Agnieszka from Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Finland visited the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica and met with the Rector, Prof. Dr. Nurten Deva, and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Bahtir Hyseni.

The meeting focused on opportunities to expand and strengthen cooperation between the two universities. Particular attention was given to faculty exchanges for longer periods through teaching mobility, preparations for signing a Memorandum of Cooperation, and opportunities to submit joint applications under upcoming Erasmus+ calls.

As part of the visit, the professors also met with MultiPro students, while Prof. Ardita delivered a lecture to students of the Faculty of Food Technology on “Challenges in the Food Chain.”

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss practical steps to advance the academic partnership and international cooperation between UIBM and Savonia University.
