At the Rectorate of the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, the Vice-Rector for Research and Scientific Research, Prof. assoc. Bahtir Hyseni, welcomed to the meeting Prof. assoc. dr. Koray Gündüz from Bingöl University in Turkey, who is carrying out academic mobility at UIBM within the framework of the Erasmus+ program for the exchange of academic staff.

During the meeting, the experience of Prof. Gündüz during his stay in Kosovo was discussed, as well as the fruitful cooperation that has developed so far between the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica and the University of Bingöl.

Vice-Rector Hyseni emphasized the importance of continuing and expanding inter-institutional cooperation, especially in the field of scientific research, academic exchange and the development of joint projects. He also emphasized the need to consider opportunities for new applications within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building program, with the aim of strengthening the academic, research and institutional capacities of the university.

Prof. ass. dr. Koray Gündüz comes from the field of economics and is staying at UIBM from June 10 to 21, 2026, where during this period he is developing academic activities, meetings with staff and students, as well as exchanging professional experiences.

At the end of the meeting, the readiness to continue mutual cooperation and to identify new opportunities for joint projects and activities in the future was expressed.
