Thirrje për mobilitet nga “Riga Technical University”, Latvia
The International Cooperation Department of Riga Technical University is pleased to announce its 1st International Teaching Week dedicated to fostering internationalization, global collaboration, and excellence in higher education.
International Teaching Week will be held from October 14 to 18, 2024 at Riga Technical University (Riga, Latvia).
It will be not only the opportunity for visiting professors to deliver lectures at our university but also to expand their professional network on a global scale, strengthen the existing professional contacts, and gain fresh perspectives for further teaching activities at home.
Academics are welcome to propose lectures in a variety of topics (check the list attached). The teaching language is English.
Further, to make the 1st International Teaching Week as beneficial as possible, each participant will have an opportunity to attend the 65th International Scientific Conference of RTU and several training activities (the final programme will be announced by September 16).
There is no participation fee. Where applicable, the funding will be available from the Erasmus+ grant distributed by RTU.
Please note that the Erasmus+ programme requires at least 8 teaching hours delivered within the regular courses offered by the host university. However as several training activities will be offered, it might be considered as Combined Staff Mobility for Teaching and Training, which requires a minimum of 4 teaching hours delivered and training activities at the host university. Upon request, individual meetings can be arranged.
