Academic Staff of the Faculty of Mechanical and Computer Engineering at UIBM Conducted Academic Sessions with International Students at Bingöl University
The first session was delivered by Prof. Ass. Dr. Fatmir Azemi, who presented the topics “Introduction to Modern Manufacturing,” “Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing,” and “Generative Design with Fusion 360: A Modern Manufacturing Case Study.” The presentation addressed the latest developments in modern manufacturing, the role of artificial intelligence in transforming industrial processes, and the application of generative design technologies for optimizing products and manufacturing processes.
The second session was delivered by Prof. Ass. Dr. Safet Abdullahu, who lectured on the topic “Cost Calculation in Manufacturing Decision Making in Mechanical Engineering.” This session highlighted the importance of cost analysis in the decision-making process within mechanical engineering, emphasizing its impact on planning, optimization, and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Following the completion of both sessions, an open discussion was held with the students and academic staff of Bingöl University, during which ideas and experiences were exchanged regarding contemporary developments in engineering, artificial intelligence, and modern manufacturing. The activity also served to present UIBM’s academic and research activities while further strengthening interinstitutional cooperation between the two universities.
Through these activities, the University “Isa Boletini” Mitrovica continues to strengthen its international cooperation by promoting the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171) programme.
