Today, at the Faculty of Law of the “Isa Boletini” University in Mitrovica, an open lecture was held with the students of the Faculty, organized by Demokraci Plus (D+). The primary focus of this informative session was to equip students with the skills to identify fake news and combat disinformation. Through discussions and practical exercises, students learned how to analyze information sources and use the digital tools provided by D+’s media literacy platform, which is funded by the European Union and the Southeast Europe Check Network (SEE Check Network).

At the end of the session, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Islam Qerimi, thanked the D+ representatives, Emir Abrashi, Policy Analyst and Project Manager, and Donika Ahmetaj, Researcher. Additionally, the Dean proposed further strengthening of this cooperation in the future and suggested that a number of students from the Faculty engage in internships within the projects managed and developed by D+.
