The Advisory Board of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica (UIBM) held its first meeting of 2026 on Friday, chaired by Fahredin Berisha. During this meeting, the appointments of the new members of the Advisory Board were approved: Lulzim Hoti from “7arte” and Lulzim Hakaj from REC, and the Work Plan for 2026 was discussed.

Chairman Berisha thanked all members of the Advisory Board for their commitment. He also appreciated the correct and collaborative approach of the UIBM management.

Meanwhile, the new members, Hoti and Hakaj, expressed their willingness to contribute with their experience. In this context, the need to deepen cooperation between the university, industry, and civil society was discussed.

The Vice-Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Prof. Dr. Sabri Avdullahi, thanked everyone for their engagement in the Advisory Board. The Dean of the Faculty of Food Technology, Prof. Dr. Mensur Kelmendi, noted that as a result of cooperation with the industry, concrete steps have been taken, such as integrating elective courses as mandatory subjects in the study programs.

The meeting also decided on the organization of the Conference: “Cooperation between Industry and UIBM,” which will invite leaders and representatives from the business world, civil society, and the university. The conference is planned to take place in May 2026.
